Manual V10 Congratulations on your choice and purchase of the Ruyan V10! Your use of this product to simulate your smoking habit will not produce second-hand smoke and will neither invade nor contaminate the environment of your loved ones, friends, colleagues, companions or associates. As a result, this product can be used in most public places and where smoking tobacco is otherwise prohibited.
Please read this user’s manual carefully before using the product. This will ensure the most prudent and appropriate use.

NOTE: To avoid the overuse of this product, you should not engage it more than 15 times within any one-minute period; if you do so, the LED indicator on the front-end will flash continuously for two seconds as a warning.
Who Should Use This Product • Smokers at or above the legal age for smoking who wish to satisfy their smoking habit in environments where smoking is prohibited or limited by law, regulation and/or common courtesy.

Nicotine and Ruyan V10 Ruyan V10 cartridges is not sole with nicotine in the Nordics. Nicotine is a natural alkaloid substance extracted from the tobacco leaf and certain other plants. It is the substance that causes smokers to become addicted. It is addictive! However, nicotine is not generally viewed as a carcinogen. The major carcinogens produced by cigarettes are tar and carbon monoxide. Since Ruyan V10 does not contain or use tobacco, the device is not determined to be a cigarette, a smoking device or “smokeless” tobacco, and it does not deliver any tar or carbon monoxide.
The RUYAN V10 is essentially different from a common cigarette in the following ways: 1. No tobacco and without ignition. 2. It is free of tar and free of the dangers of the 4,000 chemicals commonly produced by the lit, common cigarette, including, but not limited to carbon monoxide. 3. It does not require heat or ignition by flame 4. It does not produce second-hand smoke. 5. It can be used safely in most “no-smoking” areas and poses no fire danger. 6. It uses cartridges containing purified, liquid flavours. 7. It only dispenses vapor when actively engaged by the user, thereby significantly limiting the kind of waste that is caused by a lit, idle, common cigarette.
For the safe and effective use of the RUYAN V10 and its supporting products, please read and follow the instructions below very carefully.
Charging the battery Before you use your RUYAN V10, the battery must be charged until it is full. Unscrew the battery component from the atomizer.
Getting Started
Screw the battery into the charger as shown, and plug into a standard AC outlet. The battery is fully charged in three to four hours, when the charger’s indicator light changes from yellow to green.
Directions To use the Ruyan V10, first screw the atomizer into the battery; then take out a new cartridge, remove the bottom plug and top cap from the cartridge; then insert the cartridge into the atomizer firmly and inhale from the mouthpiece to simulate smoking.
When the density of the vapor produced lessens significantly, replace the cartridge by pulling it off of the atomizer and attaching a new one. When the LED indicator flashes, it is time to replace the device’s battery unit with a fully charged unit.
Upon inhalation, the LED indicator at the end of the battery will light up. Each RUYAN V10 cartridge is the smoking equivalent of approximately 15 ordinary cigarettes, and thus 150 inhalations.
Of course this may differ depending on an individual’s smoking habit. After this time, you will start to notice that the vapor exhaled will begin to lessen significantly. However, a reduction in the amount of vapor may not only be caused by an empty cartridge. It could also be caused when the battery needs re-charging or when the atomizer needs to be replaced.
One atomizer may be used to support up to 8-10 cartridges. However, please note that the life of the atomizer will depend upon the strength, duration and frequency of an individual smoker’s inhalations. It is recommended that the smoker monitor his or her own usage and develop the habit to replace the atomizer with approximately every 10 cartridges. It is also strongly recommended not to over-work the atomizer by inhaling more frequently than one would with an ordinary cigarette.
When to change the battery? When the LED indicator flashes for 10 seconds, this signals the need to change the battery unit with one that is fully charged
To charge the battery screw it into the charger and use the power cable to connect it to a standard AC outlet.
The battery will take approximately 3-4 hours to fully charge; at this point the small light on the charger will turn green.
RUYAN V10 is used with RUYAN V10 cartridges. One Ruyan cartridge typically delivers 150 mouthfuls of vapor each. A cigarette smoker in many parts of the world will typically take 8-12 puffs on an ordinary cigarette. If a user inhales more than 15 times within one minute, the LED will flash for 5 seconds. If a user inhales for longer than 4 seconds at one time, the LED will flash for 10 seconds.
Safe Transport or Use • The Ruyan V10 can be carried safely in a pocket or purse, provided that it be appropriately protected from other articles and from colliding with these articles. • The Ruyan V10 is a sophisticated electronic product equipped with special supporting components, i.e. the battery unit, the atomizer, the cartridge, the charger and the charging cord. None of the components should be forced into the others nor should they be struck or jarred to make work or continue to work. • The Ruyan V10 does not produce second-hand smoke and poses no harm to the surrounding environment or to its occupants.
• The Ruyan V10 is never lighted and does not pose any fire hazard. • Keep the Ruyan V10 away from high temperatures, whether in use or idle. • Keep the Ruyan V10 and its components out of the reach of children.
